Tirumakudalu Narasipura is a pilgrimage centre. It is located 32km from Mysore. Confluence of three rivers is here, Kaveri, the Kabini and mythical sphatika sarovara (a mythical lake or spring). T. Narasipur is considered as sacred as Prayaga (confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati) and it is the only place in South India where Kumbhamela is held once in three years.
- Gunja Narasimhaswamy Temple: It is on the right bank of River Cauvery. It was built in the Vijayanagara period.
